COMMITMENT TO QUALITY

WORKMANSHIP
Finished cable assemblies shall conform to the requirements specified in ESM’s or customer’s specifications. Non-conforming cables will not be shipped unless all specifications are met. Every ESM microwave cable assembly is 100% tested, inspected and certified to meet acceptance requirements as stated in approved customer contract. Each cable assembly is guaranteed to meet those requirements and be free of defects in material and workmanship at time of delivery.

QUALITY ASSURANCE
Quality management processes are controlled by provisions of MIL-I-45208 and ISO 9001:2000 standards. Soldering and inspections follow guidelines of IPC-610 and IPC-620 while adhering to internal ESM stringent standards.

TRACEABILITY
Records will be kept by ESM Cable showing all manufacturing processes, procedures and inspection steps that have been performed. Records indicate date of operation/inspection and the personnel performing operation. Work order numbers on the label of each cable assembly correspond to the work order generated allowing full traceability to raw material consumed on order. Records will be retained by ESM for 7 years.

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE
A Certificate of Compliance will be provided for each shipment of cable assemblies guaranteeing that each cable assembly has adhered to the requirement specified in the purchase order of the procuring party.
